Our Meeting Room

Our cozy meeting room is a popular gathering place for our library programs and clubs, and for community members for activites, like Mah Jongg, interviews, or tutoring! The meeting room can be reserved for studying, meetings, interviews, or educational purposes - and we never charge admission of any kind.

Below are the understandings you'd agree to, if you were to reserve the meeting room:

* The meeting room may be reserved for up to 3-hours at a time, though you may stay a bit longer, if the meeting room is not needed by another party. If someone does need the meeting room, you will be given a 10-minute warning to gather your things.

* Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis, and only extend to the hours that we are open. 
‍
* Personal events, such as weddings, birthdays, and showers, as well as solicitation of any kind, are not permitted. (Try the Library Hall below!)
‍
* The reserving party must leave a full name, and a reliable phone number, with library staff prior to using the room.
‍
* You are responsible for the clean-up and set-up involved in your activites, as well as the condition of the room afterward.
    
* Refreshments may be served, but the booking party is responsible for any clean-up associated with food and drink, and patrons may not serve alcohol or drugs of any kind.

* Library staff must have access to the room at all times, though we will, of course, leave you to commence your activites privately.

* You may be asked to leave at any time, should the library find your actions disruptive to the running of our library, or interfering with our Patron Code of Conduct.‍

* Permission to use the meeting room does not indicate the West Fork Library's endorsement of any opinions, beliefs, or acitivies of the individuals using the meeting room. We ask that if you advertise an event at the library, you include a statement that mentions we do not endorse your event just because you're using our meeting room.
