Death Cafe: A community conversation about Death, Dying, and Living.
The death cafe program is a non-clinical space where adults can learn about end-of-life planning, ask questions, share perspectives, and become more comfortable discussing a subject that affects every family. The goal is not to guide participants towards any particular belief, customs, or choices, but rather encourage thoughtful conversation, practical preparation, and informed decision making.
Some topics may include advanced care planning, communicating wishes, organizing important information for loved ones, funerals/celebrations of life, creating legacy memoribilia, and more.
The death cafe is lovingly presented by Reta Drain, owner and operator of Northwest Arkansas End-of-Life Services LLC.
