Teen Time: Butterflies

June 22, 2023

3:30 pm

to

4:30 pm

Library Hall, Library Garden

Join us for an exciting butterfly program that is designed just for you.

We will learn about the world of butterflies and their important role in the ecosystem. We will explore different species of butterflies that can be found in our area, learn about their behaviors and habitats, and discuss ways to protect their habitats.

There will be a hands-on craft activity called "puddling," where we'll create a puddle of sand or other natural materials to attract butterflies to our garden. We will get a chance to decorate our puddling containers. Teens will learn how to make this simple but effective butterfly feeding station, which can be used to attract a variety of butterfly species.

Test out some Butterfly Tea with the snacks and make it change color by adding different ingredients.

This program is a wonderful opportunity for teens to learn about the importance of
butterflies and their role in the ecosystem. They'll get hands-on experience creating a butterfly feeding station and enjoy a fun and educational tea party where they can observe and learn more about these beautiful creatures. Don't miss out on this unique and exciting opportunity to explore the world of butterflies!
